"Left in tears"

About: Gratton Surgery

As a first time mum in the last trimester of my pregnancy who had suffered a miscarriage I booked a double appointment to discuss a number of concerns including a lump in my breast that was bothering me. A double appointment was not made, I was rushed through, the doctor advised that they were running late, I was referred onto the breast clinic in Winchester, told I would need to book yet another appointment and shown no kindness, reassurance or anything that I would expect as a minimum. I felt like I was on a production line. No one took accountability for admin mistake made and I left in tears feeling extremely anxious.

I am sorry to hear of your recent experience, please accept our apologies as this is not the standard of service we would wish to provide. We take such comments very seriously, if you would like to contact Sarah Butt, the practice manager she would be able to look into this matter.
