"Lovely nurses"

About: Royal Blackburn Hospital

I was admitted to the hospital expecting to only be in a day or so, this turned in to over a week and I'd just like to thank the staff who helped look after me. Everyone was lovely and I even got hugs when I was scared, upset and at some points even crying but one nurse really stood out to me for going out of her way to chase up my appointments with specialist and really helped get the ball rolling when some of the services which I needed seem to be running a bit slow. The member of staff, who was my night nurse on the C2 department for the last few days was friendly and kind and really went out of her way to make sure I got the best care possible and seen by a specialist before being discharged. This stood out for me because I had already been asked if I wanted discharging and told I may have to wait a while to see anyone. This was before I was moved to the c2 ward and thankfully I did say no to this and it turns out I really really needed the continued treatment. But big thanks to the nurse for being on the ball and making sure I got the help I needed. She would also be more than happy to come in and have a chat about how things had gone in the day regarding my procedures and appointments even though, it probably wasn't that interesting for her. I was in a small side room (bed 3) and didn't always get visitors throught the day so it was lovely to have her friendly face always popping in at night, just to say hello :)

Big thanks to everyone else on c2 as well.
