"Eye Operation and post care examinations"

About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Ophthalmology

(as the patient),

A ten year old cataract replacement lens detached in my left eye at the end of 2018.

Having been examined by the eye clinic Treliske I was placed on a waiting list for surgery. I accept that this was a non emergency operation so I had no problems with waiting my turn. I had no difficulty arranging my life as I waited for the operation and I was most impressed with the help and information I was given by Mr Murjaneh's secretary. I had a pre-admission assessment at St Michael's,  Hayle  followed by the operation in July.

I have nothing but praise for Mr Murjaneh and his staff who carried out the operation.

From the briefing by the anaesthetist to the post operation recovery it was all to a very high standard.

I have now completed the post operation examinations and all is well.

My thanks to all involved.
