"My PALS experience"

About: Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust

Over the 5 years I've attended Queen Charlottes Hospital I have received excellent treatment and the staff have been wonderful Long live the NHS!Five years ago I was diagnosed with uterine cancer . I have received reports of various tests via the Patient Knows Best Information Exchange. The last test result was a scan I received 4 days before my Out Patients appointment at QCCH Luckily the result was negative But suppose it hadn't been? I would have been on my own not knowing the prognosis and future treatments Surely these results need to be given by a doctor in order to reduce panic and confusion I understand the need for FOI and clarity but I think in instances like this a doctor should deliver the results
