I have nothing but praise for the Staff and Services of Sunderland Royal
However, I'm continually disgusted by the seemingly never ending crowds of relatives and patients smoking in and around the front entrance.
The entrance / foyer itself has seen far better days and lets down an otherwise relatively modern Hospital site.

Hi there, great to hear that you find our staff as fantastic as we do. We're currently looking into ways that we can become a smokefree Trust, in order to minimise the amount of smokers on our hospital grounds.
