"Horrible, institutionalised facility"

Never smells particularly pleasant when I visit my in-law, which is not a great sign. Staff seem pre-occupied filling-in paperwork rather than spending time actually interacting properly with residents. More often they are congregated in the hallway chatting or sitting on the stairs gossiping; not at all professional. Conservatory really cold, radiators never seem to be on. Not too sure staff always know what residents are doing down those long corridors. I'm not too keen on leaving personal details in a visitors book that is accessible to the public - surely this should be inside the secure door?! So glad that my in-law has been moved from this place.
