"Kind, caring attitude made the world of difference"

About: Lothian Community Services

(as the patient),

I called podiatry due to the fact that a symptom of mine that a doctor had previously told me to keep an eye on had worsened. I was getting increasingly anxious and felt that I couldn't wait for my next appointment so I called in.

The lady I spoke to, Natasha, was so kind to me and just having a comforting voice immediately helped me to feel calmer. Although she was not qualified to give me advice over the phone, she referred me to who I needed and reassured me. Her kind, caring attitude and professionalism towards me made the world of difference to my day.

I hope that Natasha gets the recognition she deserves. She is in the podiatry Lothian team and I want her to know how grateful I am for having her on the other end of the phone.

Dear S-2019,

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback with us following your recent experiences with the podiatry services.

I was so pleased to read that Natasha was able to help get the right person to assist you. I have shared your lovely feedback with the Podiatry Management Team and asked them to pass this onto Natasha, who I am sure will be delighted to read your kind words.

I do hope your symptoms are improving and thank you again for sharing your feedback with us.

With best wishes

Jeannette
