About: West Cornwall Hospital (Penzance)

(as a service user),

Day surgery at West Cornwall Hospital Penzance for Inguinal Hernia operation under general anaesthetic.

From being greeted at reception through to nursing staff, operating surgeon, anaesthetist I was made to feel at ease and treated with respect and good humour. 

Procedures were well explained and questions answered to full satisfaction.

The whole experience was a credit to everyone involved and perhaps a model for some others to follow.

Five stars out of five.

Many thanks for your kind feedback regarding your recent surgery at West Cornwall Hospital (WCH). As the Hospital General Manager I feel extremely proud of the care we provide to our patients and it is extremely enlightening to hear when our patients have benefited so positively, first hand and been treated with such respect and dignity by all of our staff, from the reception staff to the theatre staff. I will certainly make sure I share your feedback with the team. I do hope you have continued to make a good recovery from your surgery and wish you well in the future.
