"Not seeing medical staff"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Gynaecology Services

(as the patient),

I had surgery recently. I had previously seen a Dr in January and was listed for surgery. I complained in June about waiting List times. I received an appointment for August for pre assessment and noticed I was under a different consultant.  I had my surgery recently. A registrar consented me in the morning, but that was the only Dr I saw that day. I have no idea who did my surgery and I saw no medical staff after the procedure. For all I know it was a porter who did the surgery!

Hi SM2468

I am sorry to hear you left the ward following your procedure without being aware of the name of the doctor who performed your surgery. If you contact me directly I can get that information for you.

Kind regards

Margaret Meredith, Nurse Manager
