"Outstanding professional and caring treatment "

About: Bexhill Hospital

I visited the rheumatology department in mid October for a rescheduled review appointment. The locum consultant took great trouble to listen to my description of my progress, and gave me a steroid injection straight away..an almost painless experiences! She then proposed various ways forward to manage my condition, and fed back to my GP with a detailed account of the appointment, with a copy to me.

. My experiences of this department both at Bexhill and the Conquest have always been good, but this was outstanding .

Dear David,

Thank you for taking the time to leave us such lovely feedback following your recent visit to the Rheumatology Department at Bexhill Hospital; we do appreciate it. We hope the steroid injection has had a lasting and positive effect and that the discussion you had with the Locum Consultant about alternative ways of managing your condition has, or will shortly, yield some further help.

The Trust works hard to provide all patients with a high standard of care and so we are delighted to read that not only have you rated has your recent appointment as outstanding, but that you report previous experiences of care at Conquest Hospital and Bexhill Hospital to have always been good. This assures us that you have been continually treated with the values of kindness, compassion, dignity and respect, which has in turn had a positive impact in managing your health.

We will ensure your very kind words are shared with staff as they will want to read how much you have valued and appreciated the care given. We wish you all the very best for good health in the future David.
