"impossible to contact"

Where are the Contact Details? Not under 'Contact Details' on this site, or anywhere else I could find.

Visiting times and contact times are rather important if you're leaving a loved one in their care.

I was greeted with "You're not allowed in here out of visiting hours"at reception when I came to bring a relative some needed items, after they were referred there unexpectedly after an accident and an all-night stay in A&E. Luckily, some kind nurse took pity on me and took me to the room, where my relative was sitting rather forlornly, not knowing what to do.

There was no printed information available with contact no & visiting times, (or car parking info - also important if you need the right coinage), so I couldn't check if anything else was needed before I could return. Now I will have to wait until the next allowable visit time, as I just missed the last slot. So I won't be able to bring anything else needed until the next day, when I can again only visit during one short slot, due to other important commitments.

Also wasn't informed that patients needed to bring their own towels (found that out when taking relative to toilet), or given any other information about the unit when relative was referred there.

Would it be that difficult to have a very small print-out (even A5) of very basic information that's given to carers when someone is referred to the Stamford Unit?

Other than that, it seems very nice there, but can't comment more until I can manage to visit again, and check on my relative's experience of it.
