I phoned the women’s health unit as I was concerned about some bleeding and cramping I had in an early pregnancy, I phoned the department about 8pm in the evening and they managed to see and scan me the next morning. I had to go back 11 days later and sadly it had been confirmed I had had a missed miscarriage. The following week I had the surgery management procedure which I was very anxious and scared about. However I have returned home so happy with the care I received in such horrible circumstances. All the staff, nurses and doctors made me feel very comfortable and I felt for such an intimate procedure I was treated with respect and dignity. I’d like to thank the whole team who helped me today.
"Amazing and dignified care by all members of staff"
