"Operation and treatment"

About: Inverclyde Royal Hospital / General Surgery

(as the patient),

I would like to thank all the doctors/nurses/staff  at Inverclyde Hospital for their kindness and care where I underwent major surgery this month.

The Doctors and Nurses in every department (J (HDU) & H) treated me both professionally and with dignity.  Nothing was a trouble to any of the staff who went overboard to help my speedy recovery.

Arlene in H Central was kindness personified with a great sense of humour.  Along with  Helen they went beyond the realms of their professional duties to both myself and my wife and words cannot express how grateful we both are.

Two very special Surgeons Miss Chung and Miss Brown who performed my operation were also the best.  In the case of Miss Chung, she is such a lovely and beautiful caring human being whose kindness also played a big part in my recovery.  I cant thank them both enough.  Inverclyde Hospital should be very proud to have them as part of their team and hope this will be the case for years to come.

Yours gratefully and sincerely

Dear Bigger Picture

Firstly, I'm very sorry to hear you needed to undergo major surgery this month at Inverclyde Royal Hospital. I would however like to thank you on behalf of the staff teams for your extremely kind words.

Arlene, Helen, Ms Chung and Ms Brown all work as part of the surgical team and will be delighted to hear that you found them to be compassionate, kind and professional, as that is the standard we endeavour to deliver to all of our patients. A sense of humour also goes a long way, particularly when caring for patients at such a stressful time in their lives.

I trust that you are now continuing your recovery at home.

Kindest regards

Heather
