My father was admitted to SOMA following a failed discharge from A+E the night prior,
Reviewed by the GP and sent to SOMA, the next day, as still had chest pain. We were met by in my opinion a rude and unprofessional staff member. I feel they did not respect confidentiality in front of a busy ward. The staff member seemed grumpy and like they "Couldn't be bothered".
My father was led to BAY A, where he was then put in an uncleaned chair, to which I had to ask to clean it. I did not see ANY Nurse wash their hands, no communication to our family, and delayed unstable Angina treatment. Took over 2 hours. Awful.
"No communication to our family"
