"The best foot treatment ever"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Radiotherapy

(as the patient),

Arriving from Shetland and never having been ill in my life, at 82 I was diagnosis with Prostate Cancer(early). The care I received at every stage was just outstanding. Particularly, I want to focus on the Medical Staff in units 1 &2 of the Radiotherapy department. These are outstanding folks and should be rewarded for their expertise,but, mostly for their caring attitude toward all the patients. These truly are "God's Angels in Uniform". I was nervous but they quickly put me at ease. Please tell them again a BIG thank you from me..and...don't leave out the Podiatrist who gave me the best foot treatment EVER. I am not going to name anyone in case I leave someone out they will know me.

Again, thank you very much. I am on my way to recovery.

thank you for sharing your positive comments about the quality of staff and care you received whilst visiting our radiotherapy department in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. Comments such as these are such a morale boost for staff and I have forwarded them onto the staff concerned.

I was heartened to read that your experience including the wonderful foot massage was really excellent and that you are making a good recovery.

Thanks again for taking the time to post your thoughts on care opinion, it really does mean a lot to staff
