"No consideration for disabled patients"

About: Hospital For Tropical Diseases

I am a full time Carer and I accompanied a person to the Hospital for Tropical Diseases in London.

This person I accompanied has many health issues such as collapses without warning, arthritis in both knees and had recently undergone a major operation for lung cancer.

We had to travel from Northampton to London for this appointment which was very distressing for him.

The consultant on that day did not know what the infection was on his shoulders and he was given a prescription for intestinal worms which he does not suffer from.

He had to collect this prescription from the pharmacy at the University college hospital and was made to walk there and during this walk he became unwell.

Surely the doctor he saw at the hospital for tropical diseases could have arranged to have this collected for him.

He has complained to this hospital about this poor treatment he received and he was informed that I [The Carer] should have left him at the Hospital for Tropical Diseases and collected this prescription for him but if I had done this and he became unwell then I would have been in serious trouble for leaving him without care.
