Not only did I not receive many letters for dates and time for appointment when I did receive letters they often had incorrect information, so I would make my way to the hospital, wasting valuable time and money just to find out they had made a mistake.
When I tried to call to speak to someone, they hung up on more than 3 occasions and often left phone ringing. Even though when I came in for scan they seem to be having a chat while phones ring. Likewise every time I had to go in for a scan I was waiting for a minimum of 30 mins.
Speaking of scans, my first scan was very unpleasant and uncomfortable it was no more than 3 minutes and being a new mum I was so excited and didn’t expect it to be not only painful which I later found out shouldn’t have been the case but also uncomfortable. Although after the first scan all the other scans were pleasant.
I understand that NHS is under resourced and under staffed, but this is no excuse for the sheer unprofessionalism and disscontempt I was treated with. At least try make the best of a bad situation.
"Terrible, extremely unprofessional "
