I self referred after a conversation with my GP, I was advised that there would be a 3 month wait, so I was informed from the outset.
When I was contacted to start my sessions I was advised that there would be 6 sessions and they would be weekly, to be honest I had my reservations about this thinking it would be too intense, but they were unfounded and I have completed my course in full.
My counselor Kiran was wonderful and really listened to what I had to say and helped me to find tools to work with to support and improve my mental health.
This is only the start of my journey and I know that I can contact the centre again if I am struggling,
