"As stress-free as could be!"

About: New Victoria Hospital / Day hospital

(as the patient),

From the minute we entered the hospital and a lady stepped forward to ask us if she could help, the visit was as stress free as could be!

The Department itself is staffed by the most kind and caring people you could imagine - chatty, helpful, obviously caring and so professional.   Oh how if all NHS was like this!  The staff member kept us stressfree with his chat and we discovered what a small world we live in - my husband knew of his dad through work in the past and we had long chats about Govan history which we were both interested in.   All this, created a relaxing atmosphere when worry would normally have been to the fore.  Well done this department.

I am glad to hear you had such a wonderful experience while attending the MIU department at the New Victoria Hospital.

It was great to hear you found the staff were supportive, caring and most importantly professional when you arrived through to when you left.

I know hospitals can be a daunting place at the best of times for many people, so it was heart warming to read your comments and to discover you found a common interest with your love of Govan history with the staff member in question.

I shall be sure to pass on your lovely comments to the department. I'm sure they will all be as delighted as I was to read your feedback.
