"Amazing staff and fantastic hospital -..."

I had a pre assessment for the removal of my gall bladder on 4th October 2019 and the operation took place only 10 days later on 14th October. From the outset ALL the staff I encountered were truly wonderful! They explained everything simply and clearly, in addition to being extremely supportive and compassionate in their manner. On the actual day of my operation I could not have asked for more. The ward was clean and friendly; every member of staff personally introduced themselves to me, explained their role and what would be happening throughout the day; they were all so calm and reassuring. After my operation I could not have asked for a higher level of care - - even the surgeons and anesthetist took the trouble to visit me again, update me and check if I had any concerns. NOTHING was too much trouble for any of the staff on Knightwood Ward and I was truly humbled to have been cared for by such amazing professionals.
