I've been with this surgery for 3 years, I've had both good and bad experience both with doctors and reception but I was generally happy with the service. Used to find appointment on same day when something urgent occurred.
Today I went there for blood tests. I suffer from inner ear infection which means I have severe vertigo and nausea but managed to drag myself out to get there. I arrived 11.45 while they say they're open till 12. I was told I need to go someplace else as there were a lot of people waiting and they wanted to wrap up by 12. I had noone to drive me somewhere else and because of my head spinning it was impossible to get on a bus. The lady at reception spoke with her manager and then gave me the manager's phone to speak to her. I called straight away a few times and my calls were ignored. Lady at reception wasn't very polite either. Unacceptable behaviour.
My main point is that they can't be sending people away like this when they arrive within the opening hours. I've also seen this happening before and people were leaving frustrated. If they have too many people coming in they should extend the hours or at least put a note on the Phlebotomy service flyer that people might not be seen if they arrive after a certain hour. People's needs come first and they shouldn't be failing us like this.
"Unacceptable"
