"Friendly environment"

About: Inclusion Recovery Hampshire / Eastleigh

(as a service user),

Inclusion Eastleigh is an open friendly environment for addicts.  I attend there 3 peer groups a week and find them very helpful and motivating.

People talk amongst themselves with a volunteer present (he shows a video related to addiction every session).  We tend to start on the topic of said video and progress onto how individuals are doing.  I think there is more structure in other groups - such as ACT - but I find the peer group better personally.

The openess of the staff and service users is very good as it helps you get the confidence to speak and open up about yourself.

Thank you for your kind feedback which will be passed to the team. As you are aware we offer different types of groups to ensure all clients are able to benefit from structured treatment if this is what they want, or less structured groups like the peer led groups.
