"Phoned the Duty Dr as daughter been very unwell"

(as a service user),

The Receptionist dealt well with my enquiry to speak to the Duty Dr. The Duty Dr called back very shortly after and we went to the Lawson Practice to have an appointment with him.

We did not have to wait at all, we were seen within minutes of arrivimg. My daughted had inflammed tonsils and was prescribed antibiotic medicine.

Thank you for taking the time and effort to post this response. This is very reassuring as this is the sort of service we want to be able to offer people. We are aware that some patients have found the new (now not so new) appointment system difficult initially but we have always been looking at ways to try and improve access for people so that those that don't need to be seen face to face don't have to waste their time coming and waiting for appointments while those that do, can be seen speedily. I hope your daughter gets better soon and thanks again for this response.
