Came in for a morning visit with the following symptoms : high temperature , chesty productive coughs, fever; Doctor said I have a virus and sent me home to drink paracetamol. In the evening of the same day, I was at A&E with breathing problems and was diagnosed with chest infection. Needless to say how useless the doctor was

In line with National Guidance the practice has worked to reduce prescribing of antibiotics to reduce future resistance to these drugs.
We can not comment on the diagnosis made in A+E department, but if you would like to discuss your consultation with our GP or discuss the matter with me please feel free to book an appointment by contacting the practice.
