Was admitted with ?chest infection. On ward 10 for 2 weeks within this time raised concern regarding constipation and not eating.
Re: constipation informed had received a PR exam and there was nothing wrong, this had not taken place only received it when we continued to complain (3 days later - over 3 weeks constipated - also prior to admission). Raised concern regarding dietary intake and the need for dietary supplement, informed that they would need to refer for a dietitian this was not done.Later caught MRSA on the ward and was moved to a side room and further deteriorated and was then urgently moved to another area in the hospital where he received impeccable care.Ward 10 just seemed to wipe their hands of him as he was not under their RC. It was later concluded that lung cancer was evident and this had not been mentioned once on ward 10 and he had received countless x-rays, CT scans and ultra-sounds.
