"The care Ladywalk gave to my mum"

It is very difficult to express my gratitude for how the entire staff cared for my mother for 2 and a half years . During the years that she lived with me she went to Ladywalk 3 or 4 times for respite and in April 2017 when I could no longer meet her needs at home I visited various care homes in the vicinity but none of them came up to the standards of Ladywalk for genuine, compassionate care. It was a highly emotional time for me and the senior team gave me amazing support - this sensitivity continued throughout the years.

The staff works in a very cohesive, happy and efficient manner and manages to combine professionalism with, in my mother’s case, love. Recently when her condition was terminal she required nursing care which was embraced willingly and all members of staff visited her regularly throughout the day to hold her hand.

I would like to praise the entire team - the seniors are always welcoming and take time for all concerns, the carers cannot be praised enough, the cooks provide fabulous homemade meals and baking, the cleaners consistently work hard to keep an old facility as fresh as possible, the laundry is amazing as my Mum loved beautiful silk and cashmere clothes which were challenging, but everything was kept perfectly. 

I cannot commend Ladywalk highly enough.
