"Excellent patient centred care"

My wife was admitted under the team of the doctor when extremely ill and she continues to be in the hospital receiving care.

The care at the hospital has been centred on my wife and everything possible done to meet her wishes at all times whilst ensuring her safety at a very difficult time for us all.

Hospital care is extremely complex and it is easy to be critical about the smallest thing but when families work with the hospital teams and inspire them, the care can be the best that it can be.

The team at St Mary’s are to be congratulated on their efforts and their positive, patient centred approach which was obvious right up to ceo level.

One can always improve and learn and I think the hospital team genuinely look at care in this way.
