"There lack of care gave me a heart attack ....."

Bath lodge early evening two days ago and asked to speak to a dr as I was feeling unwell and my heart kept skipping beats. Duty Dr phoned me back quickly and asked me to come in and have a blood test and ECG the following day.

I phone up to arrange this and they tell me they won’t do it and ( if I) think I’m Ill to go to A & E which is not easy for me since I’m disabled. The woman was patronising me and extremely rude.

I hung up feeling very upset.

On Saturday my heartbeat started going weird during the afternoon, by the evening I wasn’t feeling well with this continued wonky heartbeat and my daughter was very concerned and called 111. Not long after an ambulance arrived taking me off to hospital where I have had test etc.

They also determined I have a low thyroid still which is something else I had raised with the surgery and they ignored.

This surgery is now closing and I just hope and pray that things improve for the many patients under their so called care. I feel very upset with the receptionists attitude and what happened to me because they couldn’t do a 10 minute ECG.
