"Magnificent staff"

About: Pilgrim Hospital / Urology

(as a carer),

I am 88years old and have recently spent 15 days in Pilgrim. The treatment I received was first class. The Surgeons,Doctors,Nurses and staff were magnificent.I was kept informed in a cheerful manner what they were doing which relieved my nervousness. Some people say the NHS does not care for old people but I am the lie to this. Thanks to all concerned.Well done Pilgrim.

PS The food was very good.

Hi Craling

Sincere thanks for leaving us your positive comments & personal experience of our services at Pilgrim Hospital and it is warmly received. As a hospital, we are continually striving to ensure we treat all our patients with dignity, care and compassion and it is so rewarding when patients and their families take the time to let us know when we get it right. Great to read the food was good too!

We'd really like to share this with the specific ward team who looked after you, and would be gratefully if you could let us know so we can pass it directly to them. If you are willing, then you can either reply to your story or email the ward name to patient.experience@ulh.nhs.uk and we'll pass it on for you.

Regards

Sharon
