"treatment by ambulance accedant & emergency &..."

About: Dorset County Hospital / Cardiology

I wish to convey my sincere thanks to the paramedics who attended me at a restaurant on 29th September although I do not remember much about it. They stayed with me until I was assed by a doctor in accident and emergency dep. Who was efficient and caring and reassuring. In a very busy dept. the staff kept us informed at to what was happening I was admitted on the cardiology ward a about 3am. The nurses were very kind and a doctor came to make sure I was comfortable until I could be seen by the consultant in the morning. When seen by consultant he was very informative with advice and recommendations. I would like to convey my thanks for all the attention and help by the staff on the cardiac ward I was on. I had my pacemaker fitted on 20the September by a lovely doctor who explained what was going to happen and was very reassuring. I was discharged on the same day as we had vacate our lodgings at 10am 20th September. We travelled home that night. I would like to convey my thanks to all concerned with my treatment at your wonderful hospital.

Many thanks once again.

Hello Pat, it is fantastic to hear about the care you received from the staff in the Accident & Emergency department and the Cardiology ward – this is the high standard of care that we hope to achieve for all our patients.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave feedback to let us know how we are doing, and it is great to see we are getting it right – I will ensure the staff involved in your care are made aware of your lovely comments.

I hope that you are making good progress.

Best wishes
