"Good care but judgmental nurse"

About: St Albans City Hospital

I brought in my 2.5 year old son, who had cut his head at pre-school, to have the wound glued. The wait was about an hour and I was happy with the care given. However, I found the nurse who treated my son to be judgmental and unprofessional. She questioned why I didn’t keep my son at home with me if I wasn’t working. I explained that he was only in preschool for 3 hours, 3 days a week, and she told me he should stay at home with me until he is at least 3. I felt that she should not have shared her opinion on this.
