I went to Forth Valley Royal Hospital in Larbert this morning for a minor surgery. I had to get a local anesthetic. As a naturally squeamish person, I was panicking about having to go but the friendly treatment I received from the two nurses, whose names were Kirsty and Laurianne, put me at ease. They kept me talking as they gave me the anesthetic which kept me calm. After the anesthetic was given and the surgery was complete I began to feel a little sick and dizzy. They allowed me to stay lying down for as long as I needed before providing me with a cup of tea and some biscuits. They really went above and beyond to make me feel better and I just wanted to say thank you. I was attending the appointment alone which was a little daunting but they made me feel safe.
"Wonderful treatment after a minor op"
