"My Daughter's day visit."

My daughter had a lump on her hand, the doctor booked us in for an x-ray the following day. The x-ray showed the lump to be a pin/small needle. We don't know where it came from and she never complained. The following day we were sent to the Royal hospital for children in Glasgow. The care we received was second to none. On arrival we had about an hour's wait then we were taken to a bed. The nurse managed our expectations by telling us that they were busy and we may end up coming back for several days. This did worry us slightly as our daughter had to fast before the operation. But.... By the time the nurse had completed her paperwork the surgeon came through to say they had a space and wanted to take her down. We were home for 14:00 that afternoon. 😁
