"Exceptional care in A&E"

After a bad fall in Honiton I arrived at A&E - it was a very busy Monday morning this week and there was quite a wait for consultation following triage. Once seen, x-rays were taken and diagnosis followed quickly along with plastering my fractured foot and leg.

I cannot thank the consultant and the team enough for the professional and attentive care, clear explanation of my injuries and good humour and reassurance. Hospital visits -particularly in an emergency - are never great, but we watched in awe as patients were treated as quickly as humanly possible. A credit to the NHS.
