I visited Marie stopes Maidstone recently, I wanted to leave some feedback on my visit.
The receptionist on arrival was friendly and welcoming, I then got sent through to the waiting area which was almost full, just one chair left so I made myself comfy as I was a little early. The radio was so loud, phones where pinging, patients were talking loudly on the phone, some patients had there shoes off and up on chairs. Honestly it was so uncomfortable, as it was the first time I had been to you I had expected some quiet music playing in the background and phones definitely not allowed (I’m guessing the patients couldn’t read your signs) the first nurse I saw, “come in, take a seat, I’m scanning you, on the bed, go wait back outside and someone else will see you.” She was quite abrupt, and rude. The second nurse I saw was lovely, explained everything to me, wasn’t in any hurry, made sure I was happy with what was going to happen. Patients were crying in the waiting area, it really lacked any type of sympathy for what women are going through. Thank you for the help I received.
