"Very dissapoited"

About: Doncaster Royal Infirmary / Maternity care

I am not happy with Doncater triage. Came at 18:00 with high blood pressure, headaches, swelling legs and hands and also problem with Vision. First shift was Great who was on The triage was Great. Midwife was monitoring me and explained everything. When shift changed I was very dissapoited. No one came to me for 1hour. When midwife came she introduced herself to different patient, didnt know who she is looking after. She didnt monitor my blood pressure which before was over 140, 150. Later on after another hour doctor came and told her to check my blood pressure and asked me questions. I had wait for blood test results 4h! No one care that I am pregnant and starving so they could let know if I am staying for a night or going home to have some food. Finally they said to wait for results but sent my partner for food. I didn't like as well when shift changed and there staff they didnt update my partner. After 5h we left hospital upset as midwife said urine and blood test are fine, even when I dont feel well with my headaches and blood pressure is over 140, swelling is excessive and painful and Has problem with Vision. Ok, I might not have preclamsia but still they didnt help my with other sympthoms which because I dont feel well. Now I am afraid about complications during labour as high blood pressure and headaches are serious sympthoms even when there is no preclamsia. Also I didn't like way how second doctor spoke to me assuming that I have consultant and what I am doing at triage? I said to her through pregnancy I didn't have consultant as my blood pressure was 120, and didnt have other symphtoms. So big thank you to lovely midwife on first shift who has passion. And big minus to shift who was Looking after me when the midwife finished her shift. If my symphtoms not go away I will come back and they will treat me in the same way I will take this further.
