"Speedy caring professional treatment"

About: Royal Blackburn Hospital / Accident and emergency

I was taken to A & E on 24/9/19 with various symptoms including very worrying chest pain.

I am not accustomed to giving reviews but I felt I simply had to give thanks for the fantastic treatment I was given at Blackburn hospital.

Unfortunately I can’t remember the name of the doctor who attended me but I can’t give him enough praise for his total professionalism, caring, kindness and reassurance.

The nurses also were also so kind and caring.

Once I was seen in triage they took me straight through to see the doctor and throughout the whole process I was given the utmost care and professionalism by all.

To my relief it turned out after certain tests done that my symptoms were NOT Heart related but the result of a virus.

Whilst I was completely relieved by this I felt very guilty at taking up so much of their time but was reassured by everyone we did the right thing in attending the hospital.

Thank you all so much for all your amazing care and kindness it is greatly appreciated.
