I had my Left knee replacement at Barlborough three years ago. It was a complete success so when my right knee needed doing I had no hesitation in requesting to my GP that it be done at Barlborough. It took 14 weeks from referral to operation which I believe was rather quick I have had the dressing removed just under 2 weeks after the operation and am very pleased with how I am progressing. Both Knees were replaced by the same surgeon using latest techniques i.e. not awake during op to being fully awake for 2nd, staples v glue, surgical stockings v no stockings plus whatever may be different or same with the internal workings of the Knee. I personally feel that I have had the best treatment possible from the entire team at Barlborough from the moment I walked through the door and would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to ALL of you.
