"Maxillofacial Team, Urgent Care team"

About: William Harvey Hospital (Ashford)

On holiday in Kent.

Following a trip to a emergency dentist on Tuesday for a dental abscess, infection got worse overnight and was advised to go to A&E at Ashford to see the Maxillofacial team.

Triage nurses were ace, so fast and really helpful.

Was quickly moved to Urgent Treatment Centre and had bloods done by a fabulous lady who kept me informed of the timescale to see the Maxillofacial team as they had been called to an emergency in theatre.

Saw the Maxillofacial doctor who was great, explained everything and did a thorough examination and procedure to relieve the infection. He was very patient with me as I was in a lot of pain and showed compassion throughout.

Thanks to all the staff at William Harvey. I shall share my experience back with my work colleagues at the CCG when I get back home.

Thank you, Ms Barrie, for taking time to write to us with your kind comments for both A&E and Maxillofacial staff.

We will ensure that your thanks are passed on and trust you are now feeling better.
