On a very ordinary Monday 23rd September I felt unwell and 'wired!'
I phoned my surgery in Liphook to talk to a Doctor as I had a heaviness in my chest and short of breath.
The receptionist said he would call back during the day.
In a short while the Doctor phoned to talk through my problem.
After a very short silence he said ' I would like you to phone an Amulance, he had to repeat it as I was resisting not wanting to waste anybody's time and resources.
After dialling 999 the brilliant service organised an ambulance, which arrived in about 30 minutes . Amazing.
There were two paramedics and a student who came in. They were excellent, kind, caring and gave me tests etc, they said I had to go to hospital. I requested Guildford if possible, which they said for my problem that was fine. On arrival in A&E the same excellent treatment. I was them moved to EAU .
Loads more tests and the same excellent treatment by EVERYBODY..
I had to stay in over night awaiting results etc.
This was only my second stay in hospital in my 74 years ( how lucky I have been) . Right down to the delightful Pharmacist and tecnician who came with my drug and discharge letter, I could not fault any of my experience, THANK YOU ALL.
