I've been a patient of this surgery for around 25 or more years. It used to be a friendly and personable surgery, I was able to see the same GP for many of those years so they were conversant with my history and more importantly my needs.

Since the surgery wad taken over by a third party contractor all the previous benefits it extolled are now non-existent. I very rarely see the same GP (they don't appear to last long) and an excess of two weeks to get an appointment is totally laughable.

My most recent experience has been trying to get the results of a test. After having the test I was provided with an appointment, the soonest was three weeks after the test. Today was the day the GP was going to go over the results with me but hours before the review the appointment was cancelled and rescheduled 2 1/2 weeks later, again with a different GP to that whom originally scheduled the test in the first place.

Social media in this area has been discussing this surgery since the takeover and many patients have chosen to register with alternative surgeries.
