I had open heart surgery to replace a diseased aortic valve. As soon as I stepped into the place for my pre-assessment, I was confident that I could be in no better place and in no better hands. My natural anxiety and nervousness soon vanished courtesy of the fanatastic team of staff who dealt with me. Everyone was so helpful, friendly and understanding and went out of their way to impart reassurance on all aspects of my operation, my hospitalisation and rehabilitation.
The surgery went well and seemed flawless and since leaving hospital my recovery and convalescence has been trouble-free.The surgery, without which I would die within a couple of years, has given me the opportunity of another 10 -15 years of quality life.
The surgical and nursing staff in this hospital save and improve lives and as far as I'm concerned they all deserve the highest accolades possible.
"The best of the best!"
