"I am just told you are on the list"

About: Western General Hospital / Urology

(as the patient),

I have not been getting my aftercare treatment. Botox in my bladder through my mitrofanoff every six months. My last operation for this treatment was January 2018. So I have missed July 2018, January 2019, July 2019. We are now into September and when I phone I am just told you are on the list but no date.

I am very sorry that this is the situation for you. The Urology Service is significantly under pressure.

However, I would be really grateful if you would contact the Patient Experience team on Feedback@nhslothian.scot.nhs.uk and provide your personal details in order that we can investigate why your procedure is so delayed.
