"They do not give advice but scare you into..."

Rang for advice only as had an obviously sprained shoulder. First one has to be triaged by non clinical staff which is long, arduous but acceptable, then waited 2hours for a callback only to be forced to either see my GP or go to the hospital urgent care services. This advice was from their "expert clinicians" as they could not rule out a blood clot in my lung. Has this NHS service gone mad ??
