"Great service at my surgery"

My family have been with the surgery for about 25 years, and first became patients at the old premises on Capitol Road. It was a smaller practice. There is a wonderful team of doctors and staff there. I'm very happy with my treatment. Great feature of our surgery is the efficiency of the reception staff, and despite the heavy workload are always pleasant and of the upmost help. The presence of trainee doctors is obviously necessary for them to achieve training, and in a way is nice because we see fresh faces. I've found them, as you'd expect, to be of the highest competence and very respectful.

I find with the advent of Florence House, in it's large new building erected some years ago, to be providing a diverse range of services under one roof, and being very convenient, albeit not offering some services, as in Walk in centres, which would be Utopia, but certainly I'm satisfied that Florence House provides most of my needs in terms of medical care, and if not they are very good at referring me by being able to make appointments at other centres.

I am also part of a musical therapy group that meets there weekly, where I am singing in a group under the banner of "Singing Is Good For You," I have certainly found this to be the case, as it has benefited me greatly towards my problem with anxiety and it's great to be part of this very friendly group.

Yes I'd close by saying this is more than simply a doctors surgery. For me it's a hub that provides an excellent service to the community and I'm very grateful to all the doctors and Staff for their great level of care. Well done everybody!
