"Terrible phone lines / appointment availability"

I'm 7 months pregnant and have been trying to get through to book my whooping cough / flu vaccines for about 2 weeks now and haven't managed to speak to anyone. Ringing at different times of the day - line either busy or on hold for ages going nowhere.

Tried to get an appt a few weeks ago about something (relatively serious) pregnancy related and was told I would get a call back from a doctor which never happened. This was offered in place of waiting 3-4 weeks for an appt and it took me about 3 days to get through to someone to even get that! Pointless in the end.

Staff and doctors are lovely but clearly under-resourced. Just not much point being registered here as you can't get appts or make use of it!
