"Work and Life"

Moving house and down sizing, felt like a mammoth task.

Always liked to have a garden, space in my house for my family to return in an emergency, for family parties.etc.

I did move basically as my health would not permit me to continue to keep my home as I liked it to be. I am now so very happy in my little flat.

However i did feel overwhelmed by the move the financial problems that ensued, and felt almost suicidal. 

I was referred by Dr Jamieson of the Largs doctors practice to Community Mental Health Team (Elderly) and I was allocated to CPN Emma.

She has been a life saver, listened to my stories, which my family felt were a little like a female Billy Connelly, went round in circles and always returning to my first point. Helped me to recognise my anxiety and showed me how to over come these.
