"Amazingly Helpful member of staff"

After returning from holiday during which I had to seek medical help I needed to see a GP urgently.

I spoke to a lovely lady and explained my predicament.

Instead of fobbing me off with ‘you need to make an appointment’

She asked me to hold the line - spoke to who I presume was the duty GP, then came back to say the GP would see me at 3 o’clock the same afternoon.

Can’t thank this lady enough for listening to me and really helping to reassure me and going the extra mile to help.

It turned out I did need a referral and was treated very kindly by the GP who saw me.
