I had surgery yesterday under Mr Shukla's knife and the experience was spot on. Being a nervous patient I haven't recalled many names I learned on the day but the nursing staff were excellent from reception to discharge. The explanations from Mr Shukla and the anaesthetist (I'm sorry I can't remember her name) were very clear - including the risks. The team that prepped me for surgery were reassuring in their professionalism and friendliness and the thing went very smoothly. I obviously don't remember anything about surgery and my memory of the recovery room is hazy but the post-op care in the ward was excellent.
I'm sitting at home recovering with post-op pain thats far less than I expected and thought it worth mentioning how good they all were. Thanks.
