"Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy"

About: Stoke Mandeville Hospital / General surgery

Please can you make sure this. Is passed on to all concerned

I was admitted on Tuesday 17 September 2019 at Stoke Mandeville Day Surgery Unit for a Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy operation. I would like to thank all the staff involved as from the moment I walked through the doors quaking as I have a fear of all things medical you could not have been any kinder towards me. You were so incredibly caring, reassuring and very professional and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I’d had a tough year as my partner died, my sister and two brother in law’s and I was feeling unwell myself with pain from my gallbladder and still grieving. You do a fantastic job, as where would we we all be without your experience & knowledge, so keep up the good teamwork as you are all superstars!!!!!

Glad you all enjoyed the biscuits, which was just a small gift to show my appreciation.

Kind regards

Dear Madam

Thank you for taking the time to share your very positive experience at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. We are delighted to hear that you are happy with the care you received from our dedicated day surgery staff at what would have been an extremely difficult and sensitive time for you.

Please be assured your lovely words of praise will be passed on to the team for their attention.

Once again many thanks for your kind feedback; comments such as yours are always gratefully received.
